5* DJ and Magic mirror!
We booked Exceed events for our wedding at Holmes Mill, the booking process was smooth and plain sailing! Immediately after booking we had a first meeting booked so we could learn how to use the music portal and offered additional extras like magic mirrors, light up letters and dancefloors. Originally we had no extras but later on we booked the magic mirror after our original entertainment was cancelled and it was the most perfect last minute addition! If you are ummimg and ahhing about this, just do it! Its 100% worth it! We were contacted by our DJ Mike before the wedding, instantly we clicked with him! He understood exactly what music taste we had, asked us all the questions he needed to understand us better and was just generally a really great person! On the wedding day Mike was there on time, set up and introduced himself beforehand! He got the guests prepped and ready for the grand entrance which was just the most incredible reception we have ever had! He listened exactly to the music taste we had told him, played all the songs we asked him to play and the music was incredible! Every guest there spoke so positively of the vibe and atmosphere, was impressed with the music played and a few guests even mentioned wanting to book Mike for their parties/events aswell! At the start everyone was up dancing, towards the end (when everyone had run out of steam) the bangers kept on coming and everyone was either dancing in their seats or singing in their seats, which is exactly what's to be expected when you get married at 12'oclock! We had Wez as our DJ and host for our wedding day, and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish! In the lead-up to the wedding, he was great to work with — always checking in, getting to know our favourite songs (and our do-not-plays), and really understanding the kind of vibe we wanted for the day. Having a host was one of the best decisions we made! Wez kept the energy and excitement going throughout the wedding breakfast with fun games that our guests absolutely loved — it really set the tone for the rest of the day. Then in the evening, he was an incredible DJ, reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the dance floor full all night with music that suited us perfectly. We also had Exceed’s magic mirror, which our guests couldn’t get enough of, and the saxophone player, who was a massive hit — people are still talking about how amazing he was! We honestly couldn’t recommend Wez and the Exceed team enough. They went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable!

Wez our host & DJ was fantastic, couple of chats in the lead up and he smashed it. We are a chilled couple and laid back and Wez got the approach to us and our guests spot on. We had lots of compliments about Wez and the music and we just had the best time on our wedding day! The dance floor had people on it all night. To make a job look easy is a skill in itself. Cheers Wez and Steve agrees that operation blade was the best track of the night, I would say Castles in the sky. We also had the magic mirror which went down well and it was kept busy for the 4 hours with photos being taken.
