Scene were having a special offer that month and we were able to get a discount of the normal price which helps when saving towards a wedding. The service was prompt, polite and accurate all the way through. On the night they arrived early, set up and we hardly even noticed it happening around us. The guests all loved it, from the kids to grandparents. Just back from the honeymoon to an album made up with a selection of photos and a USB stick with the rest. From start to finish the day was meticulously planned by Martyn. Any last minute changes, not a problem. Attention to detail - spot on. Most importantly, Martyn was able to put bridezilla at ease with just a quick phone call.
Lighting, DJ set up, musicians (sax and percussion is a must!!), photo booth, decorations and stuff I don’t know the name of, we had it all and its top quality.
These guys are definitely on the up and are doing great things! Thanks for everything, honestly, a great day! read less

When booking they’ve got a really good online portal to upload any songs you’d like / wouldn’t like etc and also first dance / last dance options and Martyn was in touch when we booked and in the lead up to check we were all set.
We wanted a big party vibe at the wedding and the dance floor remained full all night across all age groups. We had so many texts the next day from guests saying that they had a mega time and solid hangovers which is always a sign of a good night.
Martyn was also kind enough to send through some videos to help jog my memory towards the end of the night 🤣

If I didn’t swerve last minute me, my partner and child would currently be in hospital if not dead. I booked Martyn and team back in 2019 for our wedding in 2020! We had two cancelled dates and Martyn accommodated every date change no problem!
Finally when our date was coming around in 2022, Leah got in touch and helped me log into a portal to plan our entertainment for the evening, picking our songs for first dances; special requests, timings for the evening.
We booked a package with the sax player (Jimmy) magic mirror with Chris and Martyn was our DJ! Wow what an absolute night!!!! Every single person enjoyed the whole night, Jimmy was on FIRE! He got the whole wedding party up with Martyn playing along to amazing tracks! We all felt like we was in Ibiza!
The best night of my life!
And a massive massive thank you to Chris for the photo booth, everyone loved it and also a lovely surprise that he made a book of memories with the photo prints in and the fun comments! We will treasure forever!

We wanted to create a club like atmosphere for our evening reception and Martyn certainly did that. Literally all of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the evening reception, how good the DJ was and how much they loved the saxophonist.
They also remixed our first dance song and during our pre event call Martyn reassuring us that it would work on the night (which it certainly did, even better than we had imagined!!!), we cant thank them enough for creating that moment which will stay with us forever.
I will certainly be recommending them to friends and family in the future, as will our guests who didn't get off the dancefloor all evening!! read less

Their communication since last year when we booked was excellent - we had an initial phone call, emails and a further phone call to double check details the week before the wedding. We met the DJ, Wez, when we were at our food tasting for our venue and he was very friendly and helpful from the start.
On the day, we had a saxophonist (Callum) for the drinks reception and he was just incredible. Lots of people commented on how amazing he was!
Our evening reception was just how we wanted. We’d used the portal to upload songs alongside our guests and Wez used these to get an idea of the genres of music we wanted to be played and he did a perfect job of this.

We had the incredible Pat Mulligan to host our day, alongside the lovely James` Places` Lesley-Anne. These guys went above and beyond to look after our guests and ourselves and made our day so personal too with lots and lots of laughter and excitement throughout.
Scene My Event totally transformed the lounge area at Eaves Hall for our evening reception at our wedding in October, into our very own wedding night club. The music, the lighting, the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing! The dancefloor was full all night!
From the off set, we received nothing but an exceptional service. It's always great to work with suppliers who you can completely trust, who really understand your vision, and then help make your vision come to life - these guys definitly ticked all of our boxes.
We have had amazing comments from ALL of our guests. `Literally the best wedding we have been to`, `this wedding will go down in history`, `what a party!` were just some of the fab feedback.

I hired Scene My Event to ‘bring the party’ to my fortieth birthday bash in Knutsford in November and boy, did they bring the party!!! They provided the dancefloor, room lighting, table decoration, light up lettering, a magic mirror, a magician, the DJ and a saxophonist and every bit of the experience they created, blew me away. Their lighting skills and vision for room decoration totally transformed the space I’d hired and their phenomenal DJ-ing and entertainment planning skills meant the dazzling LED dancefloor was packed all night!! I cannot recommend these guys highly enough, I genuinely felt that every single member of their team, really cared that I had the best possible night I could have.

In the end our wedding ended up being on a Tuesday which I was a bit worried about but I had absolutely no reason to be.
The package I bought (dj, sax and bongos) Literally brought the wedding night to life!
The sax and bongos were so energetic and everybody felt it!
I had so many comments off guests and even the wedding venue asking about who they were.

From our initial consultation over 3 years ago, through to rearrangement plans (the wedding was delayed due to covid), to the final execution on the day, they absolutely nailed it and made our dream wedding a reality. They worked silently behind the scenes to transform multiple rooms in our venue over the course of the day and it all worked seamlessly, and their decorations (blossom trees and candle package) were absolutely stunning.
We would like to give a special thank you to our DJ, Wez, who five minutes after an initial phone consultation had created for us our own personalised remix track for our first dance. He completely understood the vibe we were going for for our reception and on the night he kept us on the dancefloor for hours! it was like having our own personal nightclub for the evening! Very talented guy!

We absolutely LOVED the oh so fabulous Magic Mirror that came with the oh so fabulous Chris! It was just so glamorous, modern and stylish and it was a MASSIVE hit on the night of our wedfest style wedding. Chris was such a professional and incredibly easy and fun to work with building up to the big day. I have since become a little obsessed with following all the amazing things you guys do-I just wish I could party every weekend and book you guys again and again and again!
