We wanted to create a club like atmosphere for our evening reception and Martyn certainly did that. Literally all of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the evening reception, how good the DJ was and how much they loved the saxophonist.
They also remixed our first dance song and during our pre event call Martyn reassuring us that it would work on the night (which it certainly did, even better than we had imagined!!!), we cant thank them enough for creating that moment which will stay with us forever.
I will certainly be recommending them to friends and family in the future, as will our guests who didn't get off the dancefloor all evening!! read less

From our initial consultation over 3 years ago, through to rearrangement plans (the wedding was delayed due to covid), to the final execution on the day, they absolutely nailed it and made our dream wedding a reality. They worked silently behind the scenes to transform multiple rooms in our venue over the course of the day and it all worked seamlessly, and their decorations (blossom trees and candle package) were absolutely stunning.
We would like to give a special thank you to our DJ, Wez, who five minutes after an initial phone consultation had created for us our own personalised remix track for our first dance. He completely understood the vibe we were going for for our reception and on the night he kept us on the dancefloor for hours! it was like having our own personal nightclub for the evening! Very talented guy!

When booking they’ve got a really good online portal to upload any songs you’d like / wouldn’t like etc and also first dance / last dance options and Martyn was in touch when we booked and in the lead up to check we were all set.
We wanted a big party vibe at the wedding and the dance floor remained full all night across all age groups. We had so many texts the next day from guests saying that they had a mega time and solid hangovers which is always a sign of a good night.
Martyn was also kind enough to send through some videos to help jog my memory towards the end of the night 🤣

And the drums and sax they booked for the night were absolutely worth the wait! Everyone has commented how amazing they were, and what a party! They were really flexible with us as we wanted the music from 6.30 up until 1am, and they delivered that. They promised a brilliant night and that’s definitely what they brought to us. Chris stayed in contact with me and answered any queries efficiently. He was really helpful!
Wez the DJ rang to go through song choices as we were able to pick any we wanted to be played on the night. He was very interactive with our family and friends and we spoke a lot throughout the night. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the most special evening by keeping the party in full swing. He’s by far the best DJ we have had so thank you Wez! What a lovely, down to earth guy!
Ali on the saxophone was absolutely amazing. He played right up until the end and he worked so well alongside Wez. We wanted upbeat Ibiza sax songs and he played lots!!! He most definitely made the night. Again, he was so lovely and very interactive moving around the dance floor with the sax.
The guys are all so nice that work with Scene My Event and accommodated all of our needs. They aren’t one of these company’s that just take your money and see you on the night, they keep in contact with you and answer any questions you have up until your event.
Thank you so much for the best night. Hopefully we’ll see you again for our wedding!!

We had the incredible Pat Mulligan to host our day, alongside the lovely James` Places` Lesley-Anne. These guys went above and beyond to look after our guests and ourselves and made our day so personal too with lots and lots of laughter and excitement throughout.
Scene My Event totally transformed the lounge area at Eaves Hall for our evening reception at our wedding in October, into our very own wedding night club. The music, the lighting, the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing! The dancefloor was full all night!
From the off set, we received nothing but an exceptional service. It's always great to work with suppliers who you can completely trust, who really understand your vision, and then help make your vision come to life - these guys definitly ticked all of our boxes.
We have had amazing comments from ALL of our guests. `Literally the best wedding we have been to`, `this wedding will go down in history`, `what a party!` were just some of the fab feedback.
