Exceed Events has worked alongside the team at Crow Wood for close to seven years now, providing wedding entertainment to couples who choose this venue for their big day. That length of time has given us a real understanding of how the venue runs, from the layout of each space to the small logistics that make a wedding day flow properly, and it means we work in step with their staff rather than around them.
This venue holds a personal significance for us too. Exceed Events founder Chris married his wife Natalie at Crow Wood in 2023, so we know first hand what it feels like to celebrate a wedding day here, not just work one.

Amazing!
We had Wez as our DJ and host for our wedding day, and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish! In the lead-up to the wedding, he was great to work with — always checking in, getting to know our favourite songs (and our do-not-plays), and really understanding the kind of vibe we wanted for the day. Having a host was one of the best decisions we made! Wez kept the energy and excitement going throughout the wedding breakfast with fun games that our guests absolutely loved — it really set the tone for the rest of the day. Then in the evening, he was an incredible DJ, reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the dance floor full all night with music that suited us perfectly. We also had Exceed’s magic mirror, which our guests couldn’t get enough of, and the saxophone player, who was a massive hit — people are still talking about how amazing he was! We honestly couldn’t recommend Wez and the Exceed team enough. They went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable!

Wez our host & DJ was fantastic, couple of chats in the lead up and he smashed it. We are a chilled couple and laid back and Wez got the approach to us and our guests spot on. We had lots of compliments about Wez and the music and we just had the best time on our wedding day! The dance floor had people on it all night. To make a job look easy is a skill in itself. Cheers Wez and Steve agrees that operation blade was the best track of the night, I would say Castles in the sky. We also had the magic mirror which went down well and it was kept busy for the 4 hours with photos being taken. Fantastic Host/DJ
We used Exceed for the DJ entertainmemt element of our wedding. They were great from start to finish, they guided us with the extras that we were thinking of, including a Host, a Saxophonist, Magic Mirror and an upgrade to the DJ set. There is nothing else we felt was needed and the wedding was fantastic. A special mention has to made for our Host and DJ Wes, he created the vibe we were looking for and ensured that everything went seamlessly. He comminicated well with us in the run up to the wedding and ensured that the music was still personal to our tastes but also making sure that the dance floor was full and the guests had a great time. He even put a section of heavy metal music in for me and made sure he found me before the set started so that I did not miss out.
